THIS SATURDAY! Historic Germantown, in partnership with Germantown United CDC, is launching Second Saturday: G-Town Gatherings—a vibrant series of pop-up events hosted in some of Germantown’s most unique and historic spaces.

Running monthly from May through October, these gatherings will transform the neighborhood’s green spaces and cultural sites into lively hubs of music,
food, and local commerce.

The inaugural event is set for Saturday, May 9th, in Vernon Park, running from 12–4pm. The day will begin at 11am with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the
Germantown Bell outside Coleman Library, in partnership with Philadelphia250.

Each Second Saturday event runs from 12-4pm and will feature:
●Live music from local performers
●A rotating lineup of small business vendors
●Food trucks offering a variety of cuisines
●Free, family-friendly activities in welcoming outdoor settings
