Quick life update: my boyfriend and I just moved across the country! After 3 days driving through a winter storm (the timing was just 🤌🏻) we’ve made it to our new home for a bit!

I’d taken a bit of a break from instagram during this time to focus on packing, moving, and just soaking in this exciting chapter. But now that we’re settling in, I’m back and will be getting to all of your messages this weekend! I appreciate all of your continued support and hope to find some amazing inspiration here in CO.

i don’t know about you guys, but as a 27-year-old, everyone around me is getting engaged, buying a house, or having a baby. what better way to commemorate these milestones than a hand-engraved ornament for the christmas tree!? i used to love decorating the tree as a kid and coming across my parent’s dated ornaments from all of the big anniversaries and occasions in their lives. with these ornaments, you can give the gift of a memory.

i was careful in deciding to engrave these ornaments rather than just paint them to ensure that these will last for years to come. completely customizable—you pick the color of the ribbon, paint, and what your ornament will say!

Oh my goodness. This weekend I attended .designco wedding, and it was truly a dream. Taylor and I work together as Mechanical Engineers 👷🏻‍♀️ but we both also have wedding side hustles (me—a calligrapher, her—event design & coordination). We’ve become so close through our mutual love of love 🤍 (okay, okay..and reality tv), and seeing her dream wedding vision come to life this weekend was truly incredible.

The wedding took place in the lovely Gloucester, MA where an ocean view is just a turn of the head away. This girl created the most amazing “coastal boho” themed event with no detail left unconsidered. Taylor, her husband (!!!), and family collected mussel shells from the bay where she grew up, and I had the honor of putting each guest’s name on them for place cards! They sit atop beautiful hand-cut, hand-dyed ombré napkins made by Taylor herself. Taylor’s passion and dedication to her and her clients wedding’s is so admirable. hi! i’m ang, and i’m the WOAT at posting my work! lol honesty is the best policy, right 😬 okay but actually, posting is tough! if you run a business account, you know the struggle—not only do you have to take professional-grade photos, you have to pick the right filters to go with your ✨aesthetic✨, come up with a caption that will create interaction, and if you’re like me..also work a full-time job! sometimes it just feels like there aren’t enough hours in a day. hats off to all the ladies and gents pulling it off seemingly flawlessly, I wanna be like you when i grow up!!

My submission for .coil design contest !

I put my two interim designs up for a vote on my stories, and while this one didn’t quite win, it made me realize which I was hoping would. This design feels way more ‘me’! The imperfections give it an organic look I love. Also this terra cotta color palette is taking over my entire Pinterest feed right now (anyone else?!). I originally didn’t have the outer circle around the pattern which gave me major 🦠 vibes so I gave it that last layer to say peace out to 2020 lol.

Additionally no ones making me say this but these notebooks are bomb af!! As a calligrapher and overall stationary enthusiast, I am VERY particular about my notebooks. Paperweight, line width, and ESPECIALLLY texture. And my god these are just *chefs kiss* I have one for work and one for personal use and I just love them. Worth every penny! 10 out of 10 would recommend.
