Sailor and Seahorse Dress. Hand painted 100% silk. 2023-2025

This was the last fabric yardage I painted at University the Arts before it closed. The images were based on sketches I made of a seahorse love drama. When Louis and I got engaged, I drew some designs of this dress before we left on a winter sailing adventure. We planned to get married soon after the sailing trip and I didn’t want the stress of making my own dress. My desr friend mother, Peach 🍑 sewed the dress of my dreams. It was the perfect wedding dress for marrying a sailor.
