We are watching the potential for some severe weather on Monday in the North Central Plains. A livestream may be warranted, but this will depend on my schedule. I'll try to post updates on Discord so you all know what's going on.
The main concern for the next few days will be the risk of flash flooding. Also have to keep an eye on the threat of severe weather on Monday and some more heat in the South Central US.
It's going to be pretty quiet in terms of severe weather this weekend. But we do have to watch out for the threat of flash flooding with some heat in the Southern Plains.

Out little quiet period in severe weather looks to come to an end as we are watching the potential for some severe weather in the Northern Plains on Friday. Most of the ingredients should be in place for a few supercell storms capable of all hazards (hail, wind, and tornadoes). Beyond that we are also watching for the potential of some flooding in the Central/Northern Plains with our first taste of fall next weekend!

Going to be pretty quiet here in the lower 48 for most of this week, unless you're in the Northern Plains and Northeast where we've got a few showers and thunderstorms for the next few days. Then we're watching the threat of severe weather to return to the Northern Plains on Friday.

Out heatwave over the central US continues with the potential for severe weather in the Mid-Atlantic over the next few days!

Soon to be Tropical Storm Edouard is heading straight for Southeast Texas, with a lot of rain on the way. At least this is really the only concern with this system, no severe weather is expected from this. This storm is also moving quickly which will limit the total rainfall but could still see some issues with flooding. In the Pacific, things continue to be very active with two systems, Tropical Storm Lowell and Hurricane Karina. Karina is already a major category 4 hurricane and Lowell is expected to strengthen to a major category 3 hurricane 3 hurricane over the next few days. Not seeing any immideate impacts to Hawaii right now but something to keep an eye on over the next few days.
