Beware of Old Oil Tanks In The Basement! This tank already is showing a small leak. See the dark line on the side of tank? That could be how much oil is still in the tank. If the tank springs a bad leak, the basement floor gets coated with oil. The EPA may require that as much as 24" of soil are removed from the basement floor. That sounds expensive. Avoid that, get the tank emptied and removed ASAP.

It takes a lot 2x4s to renovate a house. These guys are loading in 300 sticks. The house will take 600 to 800 for the renovation.

This is a copper to iron pipe connection that is the main for a hot water radiator system. This needs to be fixed quickly, especially since the basement is finished.

Here is a picture of a lovely gas water heater vent or exhaust pipe.

Here we have a gas water heater exhaust vent that is totally rusted through. This super hazardous! It is surprising how often the water heater vent is neglected. This is certainly a stand out example.
