For the past three years we’ve partnered with Princeton Athletics to provide drone coverage of the weekly rowing races on Lake Carnegie published to ESPN+’s Ivy League Network. This year we’re happy to be providing our expertise to these productions with our live directors on campus calling the shots. Last weekend we had the treat of covering some of the fastest racing in the country at the annual Princeton Invite. For the men it was a total brawl between several of the top 10 rowing teams in the country including an early east coast appearance by #2 Cal Berkeley and #5 Stanford.
The Women’s eight race was equally as exciting as the men’s race at the 2026 Knecht Cup Regatta. With a packed field that resulted in 5 levels of finals the grand final did not disappoint with some of the best IRA Women’s Lightweights taking on some great D1 women’s eights. Harvard-Radcliffe Lightweight Rowing were the bell of the ball taking home the win over Massachusetts Rowing and Bucknell. A three boat tussle in the middle 1000 show cases these three team’s top speed.

It came down to the line for this year’s Knecht Cup in the Men’s Eight. A stunning repeat by D3 Trinity College Men's Rowing over last year’s IRA Lightweight Eight Bronze Medalists MIT Men’s Lightweight Rowing. Third place was another close race where the ACRA Silver medalist Purdue Crew edged out Dad Vail Silver Medalists La Salle Men’s Rowing . No where else in the country can you get such a show down between club, lightweight, d1 and d3 teams than at the Knecht Cup. Truly a show case of collegiate rowing in the US.
This year was the highest viewership we’ve had for this regatta. This shows that people have an appetite for free to watch coverage of the best racing in the country.
With the start of the scholastic rowing season we’re prepping for our favorite event of the year: The Stotesbury Cup Regatta. Heres a flashback from 2024 with a great race in the boys senior fours final.
