The H.A.T. (Helping Around Town) Packs program helps fill weekend hunger gaps for local school kids. H.A.T.
Packs is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves as a vital resource for the Hatboro-Horsham community. We are completely volunteer-led and operated, relying entirely on privately donated resources. Our mission is to combat local childhood food insecurity by providing "Meal Packs That Fill the Gaps," which offer weekend meals for students and their siblings in the Hatboro-Horsham

NEEDED: HALLOWEEN COSTUME DONATIONS!
It’s that spooky time of year again! That means the H.A.T. Packs Halloween Costume Giveaway is just around the corner! H.A.T. Packs wants to make sure every child can join in on the fun. From now until October 17th, you can help by donating your family’s gently used or new costumes.
Donation bins are located at the following locations during normal business hours:
• Hatboro Federal Savings - Warminster branch
• Horsham Township Library
• Union Library Company of Hatboro

During the school week, approximately 30% of Hatboro-Horsham school children benefit from the free and reduced priced meal program.
But what happens when school's out?
Sadly, it's been reported that some kids will save a portion of their Friday meals so they have something to eat over the weekend.
Or worse yet, some may simply go hungry.
