After a year of creating, filming, editing, burning, more creating, more filming, more burning, and more editing we are ready to release The Shadow Boy. An original story inspired by the artwork and music from our album The Shadow Companion. There are 11 chapters that will be posted each week starting Tuesday March 31, 2026. Dudgeon - Behind The Scenes - Cover Art

Please enjoy another "segment" of Dudgeon and some of the behind the scenes as it relates to the cover art. We used my piano as a reflective surface in the dark while someone was "blowing" on the candles during photography. We were really excited about the odd green glow that was produced as well as the reflections that were not predicted. We were very happy with the outcome of using real paper that was torn/folded and stylized with "real" caligraphy as well.
Side note: The candles represent one part of the journey gone, one part recently extinguished, and one part clinging to life as we reimagine our musical selves.
