Film & Tech In Motion is a program that teaches filmmaking, photography, and e-gaming to youth. It also instills the positive importance of self and community.
Film In Motion is a program that provides traveling workshops which teach photography and filmmaking to youth. Based in Philadelphia's Point Breeze section, Film In Motion gives children and youth in the tri-state area an artistic outlet to tell their stories. Whether through a photograph, short film, or documentary, Film In Motion helps them capture it all.

Film & Tech In Motion at Greater Philadelphia Community Alliance had a busy month full of discovery and creativity. From on location photo and film shoots, to retro-gaming, April was an exciting month across the board. We're looking forward to May.

The students of Film & Tech In Motion are filming with full size CINEMA lenses today. These are really large lenses used on professional movie sets. Our youth are learning how to use these as prep for their upcoming short film.

The students of Greater Philadelphia Community Alliance 's Entrepreneurship & Technology Program did a phenomenal job on their film project “The Tortured” this summer. All of the main camera work, setup, and story was done by youth from the South Philadelphia community. They hit it out of the park!
