Yesterday's meeting was a reminder of democracy at its best. Hundreds of committee members came together, made their voices heard, and helped shape the future of Montgomery County Democrats. The energy throughout the day reflected the passion, commitment, and optimism so many people have for this committee and our shared mission. Just as importantly, the results reflected the broad coalition that makes up our party, with members electing a leadership team that includes candidates from both slates. That outcome speaks to the strength of our organization and our ability to move forward together.
We also want to thank everyone who stepped forward to run for office. Reorganization meetings are an important part of our democratic process. They give members an opportunity to share their vision, contribute ideas, and help shape the future of our committee. We are grateful to every candidate who was willing to serve.
Whether you supported a candidate, ran for office, volunteered, or simply showed up and participated, you are an important part of this committee. The strength of Montgomery County Democrats has always come from the people willing to step up, get involved, and do the work.
One of the most valuable parts of this process was the opportunity for members to connect with one another. Throughout the campaign, we saw people build new relationships, have meaningful conversations, and share thoughtful ideas about how we can continue to strengthen Montgomery County Democrats. Those connections and ideas will continue to benefit our committee long after the votes have been counted.
As we move forward, our focus remains the same: building Democratic power in Montgomery County, supporting our candidates, engaging our communities, and standing up for the values we share. The work ahead is important, and it will take all of us working together to turn ideas into action, and action into results.
Many of our municipal committees and areas have also completed their reorganizations. We look forward to working alongside our municipal leaders, area leaders, committee people, and volunteers as we continue building strong local organizations across the county. Be on the lookout for upcoming trainings and opportunities to connect, learn, and collaborate.
Thank you for your commitment to Montgomery County Democrats. The campaign may be over, but the organizing continues. We have important work ahead, and we look forward to doing it together.

I am very excited for the State Committee Reorganization Meeting this weekend to elected our PA Dem officers.
I look forward to voting for Eugene A. DePasquale as Chair, our very own County Commissioner Jamila H. Winder for vice Chair, and Amanda Hammock for Treasurer. This is an incredible team to lead us forward for the next four years!
