New copies of Berliner, hot Diamond Discs and historical records. The only maker of shellac-compatible discs and Diamond Discs!

The Laboratory of Don Wilson, "Wilson Records", is a hobby used to spread the joy of acoustic and early electric recordings. With access to a full laboratory and a background in chemistry, it has been my passion to use these resources to make the world a little more fun.

Many years of research into materials sciences led to the development of a hard, long-wearing, shellac-compatible material. Simultaneously the techniques were developed to take rare discs and copy the grooves using precision silicone molds. The original discs are not harmed in the process. This now makes it possible to make copies to enjoy and to demo on vintage equipment, makes copies available to all collectors and ensures preservation of discs, some of which there are only one known copy surviving.

New copies of Berliner records including 5" and early 7" (American and European). Approximately 200 title to choose from, representing a cross section of early disc recordings.

The hottest Edison Diamond Discs, hard to find songs like "Charleston", "Black Bottom" and more, all available in a wide variety of colors.

Other services include making new 78's from old copies or custom lathe-cuts from audio file.

The same technology also makes it possible to create a playable copy from a stamper. With the forked stylus being discontinued, this has become a popular service.
