“It’s the most thoughtful take on this subject I’ve seen out there, and I suspect you got to the right answer,” Armstrong said in a promotional statement for the film. “It’s a great piece of work.”
Armstrong hasn’t previously speculated about the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, despite telling Forbes in 2020 that he read the bitcoin white paper in 2010, before Satoshi Nakamoto’s 2011 disappearance.

Concrete Cowboy’s Western bona fides go further than simply having characters riding on horseback. After all, it revolves around a stranger with a complicated past coming to town — 15-year-old Cole (Caleb McLaughlin who’s in from Detroit to stay with his estranged father, Harp (a subdued Idris Elba) The film takes place within an inhospitable environment where brushes with outlaws (and the law itself) can lead to death by gunfire. Scattered imagery further reinforces the genre traditions: a horse-drawn cart on a dusty street, saddled cowboys riding in a line and blurry from the rising heat, a wild horse that needs to be wrangled, and a cowboy funeral. —S.D.K.

“Every so often, a script emerges that embodies the perfect combination of humor, empathy, and poignancy, and even rarer are the opportunities to bring these projects to life. Somedays is exactly such a project, a deeply human story rooted in empathy and unlikely connection, the likes of which I haven’t seen since Harold & Maude. The exceptional cast of Billy Bob Thornton, Ariana Greenblatt, and Pamela Anderson is unparalleled, and I am honored to collaborate with them in bringing this story to the screen.” - Tucker Tooley

Last week, during BTC in D.C., we gave a sneak preview of the trailer for Finding Satoshi to a select group of influential members of the crypto community at the historic Watergate Hotel, a place that knows a thing or two about secrets.
Finding Satoshi is our upcoming feature documentary exploring the identity, legacy, and cultural impact of Bitcoin’s elusive creator. The full trailer and release details are coming soon, in the meantime, sign up for updates here: www.FindingSatoshi.com
The panel that followed, with our co-investigators William D. Cohan and Tyler Maroney, and brilliantly moderated by Eleanor Terrett, was a reminder of why we made this film in the first place.
Finding Satoshi isn’t just about solving a mystery.
It’s about a human being.
The visionary who sparked a financial revolution built on code, conviction, and the radical belief in decentralization and privacy over institutions.
Big thanks to Eleanor for guiding such a thoughtful discussion, and to everyone who showed up.
