With so many events taking place on the Schulkyill River, we're almost taking for granted, but it's because the Philadelphia Water Department is so focused on our environment; because Philadelphia Parks and Recreation has created amazing venues like Fairmount Park; and because our upstream neighbors are doing their part (Schuylkill Action Network, Friends of the Wissahickon, Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association, Lower Merion Conservancy, Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy, and many many more)! How lucky are we?
