Oral health and healthy ageing are deeply connected. This Thursday, January 22, at 9:00 am ET, join a timely webinar hosted by FDI World Dental Federation exploring how prevention and integration can strengthen oral health outcomes in long-term care systems.
The session features insights from Prof. Judy Jones, Santa Fe Group member, alongside Prof. Kakuhiro Fukai and Dr. Bathsheba (Bethy) Turton. Santa Fe Group Fellow, Dr. Zachary Brian, co-authored a thoughtful exploration with the American Association of Public Health Dentistry- AAPHD and the NNOHA - National Network for Oral Health Access on how equity and inclusion can be strengthened across oral health systems.

CMS has taken a historic step toward whole-person health in the United States. --- In the CY 2026 Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule, CMS approved a new MIPS Improvement Activity that formally integrates oral health into primary care for the first time.
This milestone elevates prevention, encourages medical–dental collaboration, and reflects years of advocacy from the Santa Fe Group (SFG), the Coalition for Oral Health Policy (COHP), and partners nationwide.
