Flashback to before we were Nutmeg Designs! This at my graduation from Hampshire College in 1990. and I had just started going out when I was accepted to Hampshire, and he sent out 200 resumes to private schools in New England so he could move with me. He didn’t have a teaching degree at the time, hence the private schools(remember the Peterson’s Guides? He got all the addresses from the library copy). That’s how he came to be a Special Ed teacher. I was headed to grad school in creative writing in Oregon and we moved together in his red Honda Civic hatchback with an enormous car top carrier full of our stuff. Sadly, announced this week that they are closing.
