Toothy Tuesday for Tippi! As most of you know, Tippi has severe CH and can't even take a step or two without falling over. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts to protect her, she has damaged her canines and they need to come out. Her surgery is scheduled for Monday, June 22nd, so I need to raise the funds before then.
I discovered this a couple of months ago and we have been battling infection and controlling her pain (she flinches any time someone goes near her face ๐ข). I'm so ready for her to be pain free! (We had to wait until she was fully grown for the teeth to be removed)
Please help if you are able to ๐ฉท

Miss Tippi Taps would reaaaalllllyyyy like to find a home to call her own. Tippi has severe CH (cerebellar hypoplasia) and can't take more than a step or two before toppling over... but trust me when I tell you she gets where she wants to go!
Tippi is a very sweet girl who loves humans. She loves to cuddle, is very vocal, and enjoys toys. She is good with other cats, but can also be in a home without them.
Tippi does require some accommodations:
- she needs a high sided litter box with a support in the middle (which I would be happy to send to her forever home with her).
- wet food only. She can eat on her own if she has something to lean against, but meal times go much smoother (and cleaner) if you keep a hand on her back to hold her steady.
- no access to stairs (so baby gates if you have stairs).
- a playpen/room where she can be safe and close to her litter box when unsupervised. Tippi isn't a cat you can let roam 24/7 - not only is it a safety concern, but the further away from a litter box she is the more likely an accident will happen because she can't get there in time.
She is such a special girl and deserves to be in a forever home with her people ๐ฉท Tippi is around 10 months old, spayed, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped.

RoRo says HEY! It's $5 Friday! We only raised $150 of $300 for Lottie's appointment on Monday and this week have had an additional $360 in other miscellaneous expenses. I know everyone is asking for help and everyone is stretched thin, but if you are able to donate please know it is so very appreciated.

This is a critical time for our city shelter and they are doing everything they can to find placement for the overwhelming number of cats and kittens (and dogs) entering the shelter every single day. If you can foster, NOW is the time. Happy to answer any questions!!
*I also have a couple groups of kittens (one pair and one trio) who are healthy and have finished or are almost finished quarantine. If I can move them, that opens up two spaces here!

Toadie girl has her (hopefully) final re-check for her pectus later today! As long as everything looks good I'll be able to schedule her spay and she will be ready for a forever home. She does breathe quite heavy when she gets worked up (she does not like any restraint at all, even when I'm just trying to hold her to trim her nails), but that may just be her normal since her pectus was pretty severe.

Lotties respiratory PCR came back positive for herpes. This isnt a huge shocker - 95% of cats are exposed and 80% become carriers. Most flare ups are stress induced and can cause an array of respiratory symptoms; some cats may just get sneezy and their eyes become irritated, and then some cats like Lottie get all the symptoms.
The picture may just look like a silly photo of her looking up, but I took it because she's primarily breathing through her mouth ๐ she is congested, her nasal discharge is blood-tinged from irritation, her eyes are weepy.
Despite all that, she is still running around like crazy, playing, wrestling, scaling my body when I'm preparing food, etc. Even though she's acting fine, I feel so bad that nothing is helping her - shes been through 3 rounds of antibiotics, was on antivirals, saline nose drops, nebulizing. Nothing treats/cures herpes, but I'd hoped something would help her symptoms.
This could be her normal, only time will tell, but I hope it doesn't deter people from adopting her. I am really hoping she and RoRo could be adopted together as they are cutest little besties.

[ADOPTABLE!] Camellia and Sakura are ready to find their forever home. These bonded sisters may have very different personalities, but together they make the perfect pair.
Camellia is the more confident and independent of the two. She loves the company of other cats and approaches life with enthusiasm. She is an exceptional player, and her impressive hops and athleticism are sure to entertain you. Playtime and treats are definitely her love language. While she enjoys affection and will often offer a few licks during a petting session, she is also happy doing her own thing and doesnโt need constant attention. Her favorite companion is her sister, and the two can almost always be found wrestling, cuddling, playing, or sharing a meal together.
Sakura is the gentler, more reserved half of the duo. She can be shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality shines through. She loves giving endless licks, has the cutest little meow, and even enjoys being carried. While Camellia is clearly the leader of the pair, Sakura has happily followed her sisterโs lead ever since their days living outdoors. She often prefers to sit back and observe while the other cats play, but she is always ready to join in for a wrestling match with her sister.
Both girls have experience living with other cats and dogs, and their bond is truly special. Their personalities compliment each other perfectly. Camellia brings confidence and adventure, while Sakura brings sweetness and calm. Together, they are the ultimate yin and yang twin duo.
These girls are around 8 months old, spayed, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped.

[ADOPTABLE!] Cal, my kitten who arrived with calicivirus completed his quarantine, got neutered, and is loving life in gen pop! He is a very sweet little guy - he loves to nuzzle close to your neck (so close that you can hear him sniffing you ๐) and kiss your face. He's also very active and energetic - he loves to chase and wrestle my big guy Hugo (he does not back down from anyone!).
Given that he was in quarantine for 6 weeks, he is still a tiny bit skittish and is still learning how to eat with others, but he becomes more confident each day.
Cal is around 3 months old, neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped. He needs a home with a active feline playmate or two!

Lottie saw our vet yesterday because since she was hospitalized in early May, she has been congested with a runny nose and sometimes watery eyes. I opted to do a respiratory PCR to determine if she simply has feline herpes or if there is something going on that requires a different antibiotic. We should have results within a week.
Luckily, Lottie is otherwise perfect. She is sweet and cuddly, runs around like a maniac, and is eating well.
Her bill was just over $300 and I could use some help covering the cost. It's $2 Tuesday which means only 150 people of the typical thousands that see my posts donating $2 will cover it ๐ฉท
