✨What’s New In Our Coffee World✨
Kandy Krush 🍇🍓🍭🍷
It’s back - the most popular coffee out of all the extremely special lots we’ve offered from Edwin Noreña! Kandy Krush is a Carbonic Maceration Co-Ferment with raspberries, strawberries, and w**e yeast, and yes, it is just as wild as it sounds. Somehow Edwin’s processing magic gives his coffees extremely intense fruit flavors without any hint of funk or booze. This one tastes like extra sweet Concord grape juice, guava candy, and strawberry jam. Truly out of this world!
Laayyoo Natural 🍑🥭🫐🍓
A super high-altitude naturally-processed Ethiopian from “The King of Guji” - need we say more? Laayyoo Natural has been a staple on our menu for the past six years and we’re thrilled to have it back again. This coffee is bright and sweet with notes of mango juice, peach pie, blueberry, and strawberry fruit roll-up.
Finca Costa Rica 🍅🍋🍑🍊
This stellar Pink Bourbon won the Huila Mágico competition in 2023 - need we say more? Sadly that competition hasn’t been run in a few years, but we are confident that if it had been, this coffee would have been up on the podium again. As is the case with all great Pink Bourbons, there is a lot of acidity that is balanced out by a lot of sweetness, with just a little hint of savoriness. We taste juicy heirloom tomato, grapefruit, peach, lemon, and orange blossom in this truly delightful coffee.

🍁 Fall Signature Lattes Are Here! 🍁
MAPLE BUTTERNUT SQUASH SPICE LATTE
We’ve always been a little different here. Instead of making a pumpkin spice latte, we make a roasted butternut squash syrup and add that, real maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg to our standard latte and voila, you have the perfect fall seasonal latte. Available hot or iced for a limited time only.🍂
EARL A L’ORANGE
This is a fan favorite every year, featuring orange bitters, Earl grey syrup, nutmeg, espresso, and steamed milk/alt. Also available iced!
Feel free to just ask for “the Earl” when ordering as we can’t pronounce the name correctly either! 🍊

⛰️ Our Highest Elevation Coffee Ever ⛰️
Only 200 bags of this gem were produced! It ticks all the boxes - it’s an exceptional variety (a mix of heirlooms, including the prized 74158), grown at high elevation (2,380 - 2,500 masl), in great soil, with great weather, and expert farming practices. While the honey processing adds a bit of body and sweetness, really there are no tricks with the processing here. Agena is Ethiopian coffee at its absolute finest; it’s incredibly aromatic and floral, with plenty of sweet berry and honeydew notes. 🫐🌺
Available now in retail bags and will be available this weekend on the pourover menu.

New Black Label series release: Colombia Finca El Paraíso Caturra Chiroso
This is the last of the five different coffees we purchased from this farm this year: a washed Caturra Chiroso (or simply Chiroso). This coffee is really exceptional as the flavor is quite intense yet it has a softness to the profile as well, so it isn’t overpowering. We taste tropical fruits like mango, big time acid (think grapefruit, lemon, and lime), plus a creamy soft peach note and some hints of flowers. As is always the case with coffees from this farm, it is a fantastic example of how carefully controlled, scientific processing can completely transform the flavor profile of a coffee for the better. 🥭🍋🍋🟩🍑🌷

☕️ What’s brewing this week ☕️
Ethiopia Guji Mulish - a magical lemon-lime kind of flavor profile with an almost effervescent texture, like soda. Does it remind you of Sprite? It sure does for us! 🍋🍋🟩💐
Colombia Finca El Paraíso Gesha Letty - juicy passionfruit. Mango. Peach. Grape & lemon candy. Incredibly soft flowers, particularly violet. Coffee simply does not get much better than this, which is why Diego Samuel named it after his daughter, Letty! 🥭🍑🍇🍋🌸
Mexico Chiapas Ki-Saya Medium Roast - the perfect coffee for those of you who don’t want the bitterness of darker roasts but also don’t want a particularly fruit-forward flavor profile. We taste notes of milk chocolate, toffee, nougat, and a hint of apricot too. 🍫🍫
Kenya Kamwangi AA - this is what Kenyan coffee is all about - a zippy, loud profile featuring blackberry, pomegranate, grapefruit, plum, and brown sugar flavor notes. The quality this year is particularly good so we are thrilled to have this one on the menu. ⚡️⚡️

Blueberry Lemon Buns! 🫐🍋
Ethiopia Ardi Natural. It’s back! This is our fifth time purchasing this coffee, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts as our sister company Vibrant Coffee Roasters & Bakery won a Good Food Award with the washed version of this coffee a few years back. Named after the Ardipithecus ramidus, a 4.4 million year old hominid fossil discovered in the area where this coffee was grown, this coffee always boasts big-time blueberry flavor with no fermenty-funk. 🫐🍑
Affogatos! The Franklin Fountain vanilla bean ice cream + our espresso = 😍
Holiday Hours! We will close one hour early on Saturday July 4 (3pm). Normal hours every other day.
Stay cool, Philly!

🌶️🌶️LONG HOT PEPPER LATTE & MOCHA🌶️🌶️
This weekend is the Italian Market Festival and we are bringing the heat in a way that all South Philly Italians are familiar with: long hot peppers! Instead of drinking the garbage in a can that’s being given out for free inside the festival (yes we said it), hop over just a block to see us and spice up your latte or mocha. Then drink one of those boozy pineapple drinks and climb that grease pole!!🇮🇹
