1st smart device to encourage healthy hand-washing habits in a fun way! Yeah that’s right, listing health facts just doesn’t get the job done.
HiGeneMonkey is the first interactive hand-washing platform built to really pull people into washing their hands. Instead, we’re planning to use a variety of 20-second content (length of time for a thorough wash, according to the CDC guidelines) ranging from business advertisements, local news, interactive games, and more! I mean, what better way to grab a kids’ attention then with a shiny video game?

The children at SPNDS were in for a surprise as they returned to daycare this morning!
Little did they know, we connected HiGeneMonkey to their Jonti-Craft portable handwashing station to commence our handwashing challenge.
For the first two weeks of January, we'll be silently monitoring their handwashing behavior with the screen OFF.
For the last two weeks of January, we'll turn the screen ON and directly compare the results!
