Help support the Arts!!
🌸 Atlanta, we really need your help! The Atlanta Dogwood Festival—our city’s welcome to spring for nearly 90 years—is in danger. ⚠️Rising costs and shifting sponsorship priorities have created a $250,000 shortfall. Unless we raise this amount by November 1, 2025, the 90th festival will not happen in April 2026.
Your support helps us continue to:
🎨 Showcase 250+ fine artists
🖌️ Support young Atlanta high school creatives
🎶 Feature local musicians
🌍 Celebrate global cultures
💙Offer free family fun
The festival has always been FREE for the community—but free comes at a cost. Help us keep this Atlanta tradition alive for generations to come.

Madam C. J. Walker (oil on wood) (born Sarah Breedlove; December 23, 1867 – May 25, 1919) was an African American entrepreneur, philanthropist, and political and social activist. She is recorded as the first female self-made millionaire in America … my last miniature painting for a while… 😊 Time for the big brushes.

I present to you an exhibition of narrative artworks. The stories in the artworks shown here are inspired by many areas of life. Religion, history, culture, and current events to name a few. They can represent an idea, such as a belief, freedom, and encouragement. Narrative art is meant to teach, inspire, inform, and even to preserve memories and culture. It can be a way to understand the experiences of people from various places and times. Take time to explore the paintings.
