Atlanta, we’re back 🧡
Friday, July 10th, we return to Atlantucky for another Poetry Open Mic Experience, & this time we’re honored to have as our Headline Feature.
Faith Jane is a poet, educator, & multidisciplinary artist whose work holds depth, feeling, & clarity in a way that stays with you. She’s one of those voices that doesn’t have to force anything to move a room, & we’re excited to bring her into this experience as we continue building something special in Atlanta.
If you were at the last one, you already know the vibe. If you missed it, here’s your chance to be in the room this time.
Poetry. Music. Live art. Vendors. Games. Food. Drinks. Community. & a dope *** time.
& this is just the beginning.. we’ll be back in Atlanta every other month, so let’s build this together.
Upcoming Atlanta dates:
• July 10
• September 18
• November 13

Poets, we want to know your process.
How do you memorize your poems, especially when you don’t have a lot of time?
Do you repeat it out loud? Record yourself? Break it into sections? Write it by hand? Practice while walking? Sleep with it playing? Perform it until your body catches it?
Drop your method in the comments.
& for anybody struggling to memorize something right now, hopefully this thread gives you something that actually helps.
