Fam, I am the Chair of the PMHARC CAB. Today we had our Connecting the Dots Conference and we had this giving soul, Waheedah Shabazz-El, as our keynote speaker. She was amazing and provide the attendees from various organizations and community members with knowledge and information that they can take back to their organizations and communities to better serve persons suffering with mental health issues. Her lesson of peeling back the layers of the onion to heal resignated with all in attendance. What an amazing conference. Thanks to my PMHARC CAB team for their awesomeness and hard work.

There is such good people in this world.. Thank you to everyone that expels the kindness God intended us to give to one another. Times are hard and for those that are having the faith and doing the work know you are being continously blessed no matter what naysayers and hypocrite people say. Keep moving, growing and walking in the light...

This message is for men that like to beat on and abuse women whether physically. sexually, emotionally, financially. Women are not a piece of property made to be rounded up and put in order like some piece of worthless product.

It's 3:00 am in my city and I'm off to help another woman in need of help because her man, who was suppose to be her protector tried to beat the life out of her so much so she can't open her freaking eyes. All because he couldn't control her. What human deserves this, NONE.

DOMESTIC/PARTNER VIOLENCE is so bad in my city of Philadelphia. Not only did he do this to this woman, but their kids witnessed it and now may have to go into fostercare if no one in the family steps up to take these little traumatized humans.

When does the insanity stop?????

Girl U Can Do It Inc. and ITAVFoundation are gearing up for our 7th Year of leading Operation Turkey for PA/NJ on Thanksgiving Day. If you are interested in volunteering this year with us to help in providing hot and nutritional meals to families and individuals in need, go to operationturkey.com and sign up to become a volunteer.

If you or your organization, employer or friends and family would like to donate, you can also go to the website and donate. We are seeking Nationally to serve 75,000 meals with 4,000 of those meals to be served between PA and NJ. Look forward to sharing the day with you, also feel free to wear your turkey costume!!!
