I love eating alone! That wasn't always the case. I remember back in the day, the thought of having to eat by myself was so frightening! I'd pull into a fast food joint's drive thru, grab the bag, park in the furthest spot of their parking lot and dig in, devouring everything quickly. I think the tide changed after I had my sons. The ability to sit quietly and enjoy a meal, prepared for me, without interruption and at my own pace, suddenly felt luxurious.

Tonight I ordered an old fashioned margarita and one shrimp, one steak taco, with beans and rice.

It was wonderful!

I decided to take the red eye back rather than leave early tomorrow. I miss my boys, all three of them.

I'm hitching an Uber to the airport with Ronald Reagan's Executive Assistant and author of the book, "The President Will See You Now.". She presented before me and was amazing.
