Long Dogs and Friends Rescue

Sweetheart Cajun is hoping for his forever family, will be in Philly this weekend -- four years, 12 pounds, a gentle, well-mannered boy, who loves cuddling and enjoys other dogs! Cajun came to rescue as a breeder release because of an IVDD episode, wobbly especially on one side. We treated him with steroids, acupuncture/laser, water therapy. Cajun is doing so well now, walks, runs, goes in/out the doggie door in his foster home, plays. His only limitations are stairs, jumping, but those are off limits for all doxies. We'd like him to have a fenced yard. He would enjoy a doggie buddy, who plays gently. Cajun loves lap time, hanging out with his humans.♡

Our adorable Roman has his forever mama, his foster Taylor Deal -- and a best buddy doxie brother Frankie -- and is now a Philly boy! Everyone is thrilled. Roman is shy at first, but even before gets to know you, a gentle love bug. Our pretty lady Clarice is waiting patiently for her forever home, and what a sweet, good girl she is! She came to rescue from shelter flea-infested, needing spay/dental -- having been kept outside always. Her vetting behind her, Clarice is so happy to be living inside, enjoying all the comforts she deserves. Ten years, 17 pounds, she is truly a wonderful girl. Our Miss Bella will be near Philly next weekend hoping to meet her forever family! Ten months, 10 pounds, she's full of doxie s***k, loves to run and play in a fenced yard with another dog close to her size, energy level -- and wants to know where her person is, get lots of loving. What else is in this uniquely adorable face -- and those legs!?☺️ Jerry is 8 years, 19 pounds of sweet easiness, likes everyone, loves cuddling with another dog; a well-mannered boy. Rescued from shelter at euth time with 2 cherry eyes, dental disease, awful skin/coat from severe flea dermatitis. He's a darling, so worth loving. Our darling dapple Harper is forever home today and was really excited to meet her new parents! She has a doxie sister waiting for her too. Harper came to rescue under some difficult circumstances, yet adjusted so well, showed her amazing doxie spirit. Happy life, best girl.♡

Dixie and Chocko needed us when their owner asked for help before going to hospice care. He was worried about them; so glad we could help. They are sweet, easy going, play some, like other dogs. Dixie and Chocko mostly want a lap or two to be loved on. They'll be in Philly this weekend hoping for their forever home.♡

Our handsome Pappy Van Winkle has a wonderful forever family, and, my goodness, is he so deserving of just that! Such a tough beginning to his rescue story, but with a quick storybook ending. Best boy Ollie is forever home with good friends and amazing doxie parents Lori Ward Braden Matthew G. Braden and is now a Philly boy! Ollie came to rescue after being injured by a motor bike. He has made a full recovery and revealed his just about perfect personality. Everyone is thrilled!
