Bentley Square Condominium Association
Bentley Square Condominiums consist of 25 low rise buildings in a complex tucked away in a nice corner of Holmesburg in northeast Philadelphia.
Our community is made up of 1 bedroom/1 bath and 2 bedroom/2 bath units, with some condos having fireplaces. We have a single entrance to the community off of Ditman and Rhawn Streets. From an inn on a stagecoach stop to today. A little piece of history we pass regularly.
The Green Tree Hotel was built at what is now the SW corner of Frankford & Rhawn in 1799. It was a popular stagecoach stop and remained in use until trolleys displaced stagecoaches as a popular means of travel. The building is still in use today as an auto tag and insurance agency.

Sneak Peak: September 13th meeting will include a speaker from New Foundations Charter School regarding anti-bullying and how to speak to your children about bullying.
For October 11th meeting we will have Jeff Dempsey program director of CeasefirePA regarding its organization, what they do to try to prevent the plague of gun violence and mass shooting, and how we can help prevent it as well.
More formal agendas to follow.
Please spread the word to surrounding communities for its residents to come to our meeting. I know both months, especially October and gun violence being a hot topic Tacony, Mayfair, and Upper Holmesburg residents will want to attend.
