I’m HOME!!! 🏠🥰❤️ If you’ve been following my saga trying to get back to Philly from Miami, you know it’s been pretty crazy… but along the way, I have been touched by the kindness and caring of so many people - from friends, family, and followers on social media… to total strangers. So despite the difficulties, my heart is full of gratitude and I am just happy to be home. Thanks to all of you who rooted for me!

Miami 👉 Philadelphia travel update!!! ✈️🚗✈️

Stuck someplace due to a flight cancellation or delay? Me, too 🤪
So what does your consumer reporter do???

If your flight is canceled:
- Immediately go online and use Google Flights or Kayak to search for new flights!
- Make sure to also search airports near your outbound and return cities!
- Do NOT waste time by calling your airline or getting in line. Find and book immediately online!
- If there is a glitch when re-booking or buying new flight, keep trying! I kept getting an error message and had to try three times before my purchase for my new flight was finally processed!
- After you book, stay alert to changes and get on standby for other flights. Even if a flight is full, it’s possible to get a seat so might as well try.

Before you even get to the airport:
- Download Kayak or similar search app
- Download all airline apps so you can book other flights quickly and easily
- Make a contingency plan. Can you rent a car and drive? Take a train? Know your options in advance so you can immediately take next steps.

No matter what:
-Know that you are not alone in this nightmare! We will get through it.
-Be kind to airport and airline personnel and TSA staff! Everyone is doing the best they can.

P.S. My standby flight for today was JUST canceled as I type this. And my confirmed flight is now three hours delayed sooooo… 🤞🤞🤞

I was honored to share a little bit of our family's journey living with dementia on the news today, and to shine a light on a beautiful new book, "Navigating Alzheimer's: A Roadmap for Taking Charge" by Melanie Cutillo. I've learned so much from Melanie's book and I hope that you will, too. Melanie's dad had Alzheimer's but her book is really helpful for navigating any dementia diagnosis. My dad, for instance, has vascular dementia. Melanie is also a nurse so she has a wealth of knowledge from both a personal and professional perspective.

Please share this with anyone you know who is living with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia. Also, coming up at NOON TODAY, join me, Melanie, and Diane Chew for a live conversation for caregivers. You can join and ask questions that we will answer in real time 🙏

Happy Saturday, Friends! 🌞😎
Take a break, take a deep breath, take a moment to notice and enjoy the gifts of life ❤️🙏

Caregiving for my dad is an honor and a responsibility that I take on with gratitude and love. But it is also hard. To all the caregivers out there, I see you and I want to help.

Please join Diane Chew, Melanie Cutillo (author of the guidebook, Navigating Alzheimer’s: A Roadmap to Take Charge), and me for a conversation about caregiving next Tuesday on Instagram at Noon. Diane and Melanie will share their experiences as caregivers. They will also provide a ton of practical advice.

They have both given me great ideas, resources, and hope, and I hope that together, we can do the same for you.

If you have questions/topics you’d like us to tackle, please let me know here.

Also, please share this with other caregivers you know. 🙏

Thank you all for your kind messages and for sharing your own stories about caregiving for a loved one living with dementia. I am grateful that we can come together as a community.

Of course, having a family member with dementia not only takes an incredible emotional toll, it also has a major financial impact. Americans provide the equivalent of BILLIONS of dollars worth of caregiving for loved ones, and about 50% of that is for those living with dementia.

Here are some numbers that may shock you about the reality of the impacts of the disease:
-1 in 10 Americans is living with dementia. That's more than 7 million people That number is expected to surge to 1 in 5 by the year 2050.
-25% of dementia caregivers are in the sandwich generation, meaning they care for an aging parent and at least one child.
-One-third of caregivers are daughters, like me.

I love my dad so much and want to cherish our time together. It is an honor to care for him. On the other hand, I acknowledge that it is also extremely difficult. So whether you are caring for a parent, a spouse, or another loved one, please know that I understand your experience. Please also know that some help is available.

Big thanks once again to Diane Chew, , for shining a light on some of those resources and for reminding us to lead with love, not fear ❤️

I shared something very personal on the news today in hopes that it will help other families and caregivers feel less alone. My dad is living with dementia.

As anyone who follows me on social media knows, my dad and I are tremendously close. He is truly my first love. It has been extremely difficult to watch his condition progress over the past few years.. and the heartbreak continues.. but I am learning from Diane Chew, who goes by on social media, to find light in the darkness.. to find gratitude that I have the opportunity to serve my dad after all he's done for me.. and to find community, to come together with others so we can lift each other up. It takes a village and I am SO Grateful to every single person who's offered support and love.

If you are a caregiver, I encourage you to follow Diane as she shares her journey with her her husband, Ben. Ben is living with Lewy Body dementia, the same kind of dementia comedian Robin Williams had. What Diane has done to connect caregivers all over the world is truly amazing and inspiring. She also offers incredible advice on her social media accounts and newsletter. Her social media handle is Dementia Coach Diane.

Thank you, Diane, for helping all of us.

We will air a story at 4:30pm today on the financial toll dementia-related caregiving has on American families...
-More than 7 million Americans are living with dementia. That's 1 in 10, and that number is supposed to surge to 1 in 5 by the year 2050.
-Approximately 25-percent of dementia caregivers are in the sandwich generation, meaning they care for an aging parent and at least one child.
-According to a new study, unpaid family caregivers provided $873 billion worth of work last year.

Whether you're taking care of a parent, a spouse, or another loved one, to say that it is difficult is an understatement. Stay tuned for many more stories about this issue that has so many impacts.

Hi Friends! As we continue to cover the impacts of tariffs, wondering if you can help me out. Can you share with me any price increases you're noticing? Is anyone seeing a "Tariff Fee" on any of their bills? Also, are you panic buying? If so, what? Thanks!

BIG DAY for my Dad/Grandpa Han!!! —- Today is daddy’s 85TH BIRTHDAY 🥳🥰 and yes, thanks to our good friend, Sophia 🙏, he is ready to watch the EAGLES FLY!!! 🦅 My dad’s memory is fading, but he remembers the most important things - to be kind, sincere, and respectful… to do things right and with grace and dignity… to serve and think of others before yourself… and above all, he remembers that we love each other ❤️ I truly am the luckiest girl in the whole world. Now…. Go Eagles!!!! We held dad’s party yesterday so we could watch Super Bowl 59 —- Let’s do this thing tonight!! 🏈💚 P.S. I’m not sure which is cooler about Grandpa’s look - his hat or his sweater tucked into his sweatpants 😂🤣

If you are stressed about the holidays or end-of-year tasks at work, listen up! Thanks to Robertson Price of , we are showing our viewers how artificial intelligence can help find the perfect holiday gift and plan your Christmas dinner... find the right job and even build a business. The video below is our first story that aired at 10am today. Robertson breaks down step-by-step what AI can do, how to use it as your own personal assistant, which platforms he likes, etc.. He also has a couple important warnings to keep in mind when using artificial intelligence. Our second piece will be on at 4:30pm today. Despite the fact that I do a lot of stories about technology, I am an embarrassingly slow adopter but now I am fully on board and saving tons of time and stress. Thanks for sharing your expertise, Rob!
