BunRabit’s Rescue

Yesterday I got to see one of the buns that got adopted a few years ago! Nutmeg came in for a general grooming appointment and nail trims. Look how adorable! I offer grooming appointments by appointment only!

Just a momma and her 4 babies eating dinner. Next week we are separating them so that we can treat them all for ear mites! Luckily momma girl is NOT pregnant (We don’t think)! We had an ultrasound done to check! Speaking of which if you’d like to donate directly to our vet office, Donaldson Animal Hospital in Jeanette PA, we have a current balance of $312 there. Prime days are here!! There are so many things on sale that we could use for the buns. Including but not limited to: hay, toys, and noodle rugs (big one).

Nala is doing okay but we are gearing towards getting her ready to have surgery sometime soon. Hopefully we can schedule that ASAP but with little funding right now its really hard 😞

Thank you all for your generosity so far. Fingers crossed we can raise enough for all these appointments.

We have gotten $172 of donations yesterday!! Yay! That covers some of our $450 bill from last week. Plus we had our Momma girl’s belly ultrasound to see if she has more babies and it doesn’t look like it (thankfully).

Other news, Coconut is ready to find her new home. This wild looking girl is very sweet and curious. She does well with people of all ages, including kids!

We haven’t posted about Waldo too much but he has been a medical disaster for a little while. He has pushed our medical bills to its limit!

We have a SUPER important vet visit next week with 5 of our medical buns and we really don’t have much funds for that right now! If you can help in any way PLEASE do. Even if each follower donated $1 we’d have plenty to cover that bill.

BRR has been so busy the last few days! Since coming home from Bunfest, we have had a surrender of momma and 4 babies, 2 big vet visits (totaling almost $500) and today 3 buns are getting spayed! Whew so busy!!

Waldo is getting bloodwork as he is very ill currently. Pigpen may need bloodwork as well. Nala had an appointment as well which showed a significant decrease in the swelling but she will still need surgery to fix her prolapse. Dandelion and Coconut are getting spayed today with Remy!
