The Beloved Care Project was founded by Khalif Mujahid- Ali this past year.
Our mission is to spread love and care to families in the Philadelphia community that are impacted by violence, trauma, and gun violence.

Khalif Mujahid-Ali, a devoted anti-violence advocate, has died at age 60 “He just cared in a way that was so authentic. He took every homicide personally," people said of Ali.
We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Khalif Mujahid-Ali. We are heartbroken as we mourn the loss of a cherished member of our family and community.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their outpouring of love, support, and condolences during this difficult time. Khalif was loved by many people, and we appreciate all the kind words and gestures that have been extended to us.
On behalf of his family, we kindly ask the public to respect their privacy and give them some space as we come to terms with this loss. We understand that many people may want to express their condolences or offer their assistance, but we ask that you do so through private channels.
We will provide updates on any memorial in due course. Once again, we thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time.

Philly youth to march against gun violence on Sunday The march starts at 23rd and Market Streets at 12:30 p.m. and ends at the Municipal Services Building at 2 p.m. after circling City Hall.
