Photos from last weekend's Shakedown at Virginia Motorsports Park. Since I did not have any sponsors, I used the weekend as an extended test session for my new RF135 lens. I believe it was used to capture every one of the shots in this gallery.

I pushed the lens in different situations so that when I head to the PDRA DeCerbo Construction, Inc. American Door Slammer Challenge presented by Callies Performance Products at Summit Motorsports Park next week I have a good handle on what it can and can't do.

I have to say that I'm happy with the results. I do not have an image here of every racer, but that's never my goal anyway. I try to focus on presenting the best images possible. These are not perfect (they never are) but I feel like I captured the vibe of the weekend.
