Marsha's, Philly's first women's sports bar, opens next week Marsha’s, Philly’s first-ever women’s sports bar, will open on South Street on Friday, September 19.

🗨️: “In the 1960s to the 1990s, [Gary Hines] said there were many prominently Black gay bars on South Street, north of Market Street, and in West and North Philly. Hines named some of the spots and shared photos from them in his talk…None of them still exist today. They are documented, however, on the LGBT Philadelphia map.”

BVlicious is moving beyond the borders of Bella Vista…for the first time in our nearly 2 years of meet ups! But we’re not going too far – certainly worth the crossing Washington Avenue from BV!

We’re bringing our mission of community and connecting, and finding out about cool spaces and interesting places that make where we live so special.

So on that note…it’s going to be at Theatre Exile’ courtyard space on Sunday Funday, June 8th. 6-8p. It’ll be BYOB, and there will be food available as well as beverages for a suggested donation. As always, it’s FREE. All Are Welcome!

Hello Beautiful BVlicious folks!

It's been a chilly winter so far, but we're ready to heat you up- and perk you up! Love is in the Air @ the Da Vinci Art Alliance on Valentine's Day Eve.

Come check out DVAA's three floors of galleries- a great space and unique community place that’ll be sure to warm your heart. This is a fundraiser to help them continue doing all the terrific things they do.

It's BYOB- and we'll have Yard's beer and a signature 'Love Potion' cocktail/mocktails for a suggested donation. They'll be food from the new neighborhood central Asian restaurant, Silk Way, music to groove to, crafts to make (homemade Valentines are the best), art to enjoy, and fun to be had.

Bring your sweetheart, meet a sweetheart, come with friends or neighbors, make some friends or meet some neighbors. It's FREE, and All are Welcome!
