We’re back. With longevity and better health becoming important to the population I felt it was time to reopen the RTS page. RTS has always been committed to providing real science based information that followers can use to make smart decisions regarding healthy lifestyle choices. I will be reaching out to all my medical and exercise friends to offer their comments that will help you make reliable decisions regarding living a sustainable and healthy lifestyle.

This is going to be fun.
I know, I know. It contains the word cardio. Hopefully you can all forgive me.
Attached is the first phase of a longevity program being built by Joe Lemay who I met here on LinkedIn. He has a great vision for his program which is to design it to be more digestible for the “every man”.
After a number of strategic discussions and getting trained in my cardio system I was honored that he decided to kick off his project with a focus on cardio training using my cardio coaching system. I’m excited to be a part of this effort because at this stage of my journey I just want to help people get healthier. And Joe’s vision and push for longevity training allows me to do that. I’m looking forward to in any way helping Joe build his vision and get get some folks just feeling great. That’s why we all got into this business.

I wanted to take a few lines to introduce myself.
My name is Brian Lange. I’ve been involved in the health, fitness, and sports training arena for the past 40 years. Several years ago, I had the opportunity to partner with Dennis and the Remote Training System. The program, originally designed in the healthcare system and utilized by physicians is now going mainstream and being offered to everyone!
I am excited about bringing this revolutionary program to those who truly desire to take the next step in not only weight loss but their overall physical health and well-being.
As the director of training, I will be overseeing programing while providing direction, support, and accountability to help each person reach their desired goals.
I will be there to encourage, motivate and direct each person on their journey with a “script” specifically designed just for them.

“Using Exercise for Weight
Loss”

Why you need a wearable to lose weight.
Keeping in mind this series is focused on exercise for weight loss, even though it is not the only application of the Cardio Coaching System, I wanted to show you with data why you need a wearable. Keeping in mind the importance for weight loss of total calories burned, you obviously need to have some way to measure that number. While no two wearables are the same when it comes to counting cals burned, most are at least accurate to themselves. And it wasn’t until I started studying wearable data that I realized the biggest reason people would not achieve their goals is because they couldn’t track this number. And that’s an issue because as you get in better shape it changes. And there can be a significant difference in cals burned comparing one type of workout to the other. So here is a comparative of a one hour walk at a pace if about 3.5 mph and a one hour run at a pace of about 5.5 mph. The difference in cals burned is 322 calories. If you multiply that by just three workouts per week that’s a total of almost 1000 calories which is almost a pound per month. And without knowing the calorie number you wouldn’t know this. So knowing this number is critical to maximizing your exercise time.
