Field Day fun was in full swing! Students enjoyed bouncing through inflatables, cooling off with popsicles and sharing pretzels with friends. One of the biggest highlights of the day? Throwing pies at Mr. Chris!

LifeWorks School at Media proudly hosted its annual art show on May 21, celebrating the creativity, talent and hard work of our students! From vibrant paintings and intricate drawings to imaginative mixed media pieces, the show was filled with beautiful and unique artwork that reflected each student’s individuality and artistic voice. The event highlighted the incredible creativity within our school community and provided a wonderful opportunity for students to share their talents.

Elementary students at LifeWorks Schools have been exploring the fascinating world of life cycles and recently, they experienced it firsthand! 🦋 In the classroom, students observed the incredible transformation of butterflies from start to finish. They began with tiny caterpillars, watched them grow and shed their skin, then enter the chrysalis stage and finally emerge as beautiful monarch butterflies.
This hands-on learning experience brought science to life, inspiring curiosity, patience and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Our Talent Show was a true celebration of creativity, confidence and community! Students of all ability levels took the stage to showcase their incredible talents through singing, dancing and even original musical performances.
Each act reflected courage, individuality, and the joy of self-expression. We are so proud of our students for supporting one another, shining brightly and reminding us all that everyone has something special to share.

During the week of April 27, LifeWorks proudly celebrated Autism Awareness and Acceptance through fun, meaningful activities that highlighted individuality, kindness and inclusion. Throughout the week, students and staff participated in themed spirit days from mismatched outfits celebrating uniqueness, to team apparel promoting connection, calming colors supporting wellness, kindness-themed attire spreading positivity and favorite outfits encouraging self-expression. Students also enjoyed bubbles and other engaging activities that brought smiles and joy across our school community.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this week such a special celebration of acceptance, understanding and appreciation for the unique strengths each individual brings.

During the week of May 11–15, LifeWorks proudly celebrated Employee Appreciation Week by recognizing the incredible dedication, compassion and hard work our staff demonstrate each and every day. Throughout the week, staff enjoyed special treats and opportunities to relax and recharge, including a food truck lunch, hoagies, sweet treats, ice cream and a t-shirt giveaway.
We were also proud to highlight our Service Excellence Employee of the Year, Ms. Iris. Day in and day out, Ms. Iris embodies positivity and serves as a role model for both students and colleagues. Her unwavering support and collaborative spirit make her an invaluable team member, consistently going above and beyond to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed. Her impact on the program and the school community is truly profound, making her more than deserving of this recognition.
We are incredibly grateful for the commitment all of our employees show to our students and school community. Thank you for all that you do, your impact is felt every single day.

Congratulations to Ms. Iris Teng, our Service Excellence winner at LifeWorks School in Media! With more than 20 years of experience and certifications in elementary education, secondary math and special education, Iris has made an extraordinary impact on our school community.
Since joining us in 2023, she has built our first elementary ID classroom into a thriving, supportive and engaging learning environment. Her passion, creativity and teamwork inspire us every day. Thank you, Iris, for your outstanding dedication and the difference you make.

Our students brightened the day by creating beautiful sunflower artwork! Using a variety of materials and their own creativity, they designed unique pieces that reflect positivity, growth and individuality.
This activity not only encouraged artistic expression but also helped strengthen fine motor skills and focus. We love seeing our students take pride in their work and share their creativity with others!
