I'm particularly proud of this one. I wrote the lyrics while driving (as usual), and just about had a complete song by the time I pulled into my driveway. Then, I wrote the music on the piano later that night. I was extremely happy with the song at that point. But then I turned it over to Mark, and the real magic happened. He spent hours (and hours, and hours, and hours) writing and perfecting the violin and cello parts. (And my apologies to his wife Gail who had to listen to it so many times!). It went from a really good song, to a really great song. And that's why we are a team. We both bring something different to the table, and when we put it together, it works. This song was a long time in the making, but definitely well worth the wait. I hope you enjoy it!
