Today we celebrated the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and convey our appreciation to collaborators: Hope’s Beacon Baptist Church, Vine Memorial Baptist Church, and ECS St. Barnabas Community Resource Center. Likewise we thank host and Sr. Director Rhena McClain for the delicious and hearty breakfast and for moderating a phenomenal panel of neighborhood thought leaders Dr. Norrece Kofi Jones, Rev. Dr. Tamika Holder, and Eric “Bro. Shomari” Grimes all complemented with very eloquent introductions by Publisisgrinds, CEO Yahne Jackson. Likewise we are most appreciative of the exhibit and video montage presentations by Sis. Betty Session

Honoring Martin Luther King Jr.’s Legacy 🙌🏽

Today, Forum Philly, Hope’s Beacon Baptist Church, The Episcopal Community Services, Philadelphia Center, and Vine Memorial Baptist Church came together in West Philadelphia. This gathering was a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr.’s enduring movement and legacy. Attendees witnessed and participated in a moderated panel discussion featuring local leaders and change-makers. The panel reflected on Dr. King’s timeless ideals of justice and equity, offering insights and perspectives on how these principles continue to shape our communities today.
