Feeling as sad as I am grateful for everything he created. I listen to Bob Weir's voice, songs, and live shows every week of my life. It's not an exaggeration. The Grateful Dead's music is as much a part of me as a family member, a memory, or a story I've told over and over again. It's the music of my father, my childhood, my youth, my younger days, and my current days.

Thank you, Bob. You made the template for so many other artists and bands to follow in your footsteps. You founded a movement that lasted almost 60 years strong, and we will carry it onward for you.
