The Just- us Project
Our mission is to end the era of Mass Incarceration, which is made possible by the Prison Industrial
I am a black woman and I can acknowledge that:
A. The system is FU**ED up. Black people are used, abused, killed, in poverty, traumatized. Too many brothers and sisters killed by police brutality. We deserve to be treated with respect. Instead, we are dehumanized by the powers that be. The country needs to dismantle systemic opression.
B. We have alot of working to do on ourselves. Too many brothers and sisters killed by gun violence in our community by us. Sometimes we do act like 'crabs in a bucket." We have hella generational habits we need to break. Things that white people can't solve.
Yes we got to fixed are own wheelhouse first than we can unity to stand strong as a whole unit and thrived and make THEM heard us LOUD violence shouldn't be THE FIRST defense especially unorganized PEOPLE have wasted some much good energy on been negative that could have be used for a more powerful message I love my blackness but my own don't like me i been call a oreo my whole LIFE or you think you better than us with your silver spoon

We need to take action to counter this problem, brainstorm, create groups, hold chats, come to agreements on funding, hold meetings, and become altogether unified ‼️‼️‼️ WE NEED TO BRING ABOUT OUR OWN CHANGE, THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR US ‼️

We need to learn to organize ourselves in order to confront our common issue together ‼️‼️‼️

George Floyd murdered in Minneapolis, Minn. The most recent in a long line of black people unjustly callously murdered in this country over the last 400+ years. Another example of how unjust America's criminal justice system is. The police cavalierly killed Floyd in broad daylight, on camera. How many times have this Officer Derek Chauvin fabricated a statement behind closed doors? How often has he lied on a witness stand? Only a fool would believe that was Chauvin's first racist act. Time has come for black people to make changes in order to provide for their own safety & security. We must change the way we relate to each other, to other races, & to U.S. institutions. But, as usual, the call is being made for a "National Conversation." How, when, or who is to be involved in such a conversation is never talked about. What results is this conversation is expected to produce is a mystery. Before a conversation between the races in America, there has to be one among black people in America. We need to come to an understanding among ourselves before we come to an understanding with anyone else. We need to decide what kind of lives we want & deserve to live, & our willing to work & fight for. We need to decide and declare what we won't stand for. What we see in Minnesota, & other cities, is a massive amount of energy that can be directed and drawn upon to produce a society, community, and nation on our terms. This energy exists in every city or community in this country, but is a usually held in reserve. It is up to us to find ways to tap into this energy & use it to accomplish objectives set by us, for our benefit. We have the resources, the skills, the knowledge, and the means to bring about justice for all of US. If interested & willing, please contact us, join us:

"Blacks must build a new politics, with a new vision - a politics of true revolution, which is always and finally, a politics of self-reliance. Our future task is self-evident, it is self-development, building anew ... even as we fight. Developing in the midst of depression, developing under siege. Developing without resources, except human resources." -- That was written by William Strickland in 1973 in the midst of the Watergate scandal and Nixon's impeachment. 45 years later, Black people are still using the same old political playbook. In the Trump era, a new politics is needed more now than ever before. When the FBI's counterterrorism division declares that "Black Identity Extremist" pose a threat to law enforcement, it should be a wake-up call (as if there have not been more than enough already). After COINTELPRO, it should be self-evident that something new is necessary. A new politics with a new social vision based on self-reliance and self-development isn't impossible, implausible, or impractical. [Supreme U.M. Allah]

TARNISHED BRASS | USA TODAY US Edition AMSTERDAM, Ohio – In the days after they ousted their police chief, the leaders of this town realized that the real mess he’d made wasn’t the jumble of trash and misplaced evidence that cluttered his office. It was what was buried underneath. There...

REPARATIONS & MASS INCARCERATION: There has been a lot of talk lately about reparations by politicians. Mostly, those running for president. Let's keep it real. At least, with ourselves. There is no doubt that America's history has lead directly to many of the problems that plague the Black community today, of which one of the biggest is the current era of mass incarceration and the prison-industrial complex. No doubt Black people in America are justified in seeking, and claiming an entitlement to, reparations. But, can we really afford to wait for politicians to do the right thing, when they have never shown a real, consistent interest in doing so. In fact, it would be "political su***de" for them to get in office and actually try to get reparations passed. That is besides many of them probably being personally against it. Not only that, while today's political & economic climate make the need for reparations more apparent, it also makes it much less likely to happen. They cannot agree to even come together and fix their own problems, let alone agree on solutions -- no matter how serious and obvious those problem maybe. We have to get busy solving our own problems. We have to put in the work to bring an end to mass incarceration and repair the damage done by it. To paraphrase Sundiata Acoli, We have to be our own liberators! We have to fix our own problems. The task at hand will certainly be difficult, but it is far from impossible. Those that understand the seriousness and causes of mass incarceration also know waiting on America's political system to take the lead on solving the problem is a waste of time. It is past time for us to get busy doing what we all know needs to be done.
