25 years ago today the horrific events that impacted so many lives and changed us as a nation we will never forget! We will always remember & honor the victims and families. And here at Fuel The Force we will of course remember and honor the Police Officers and First Responders who showed up not only that day but months and even years after! And the ones who paid the ultimate sacrifice. So please thank a Police Officer and First Responder today for always running towards things we run from each and every day! 💙💙

Cafe Giovanni in Bristol Borough PA!! Amazing Authentic Gelato imported directly from Italy!! Trust me when I tell you, you cannot find authentic Italian Gelato like this anywhere in Bucks County! They have photos of the cows in Sicily who produce the milk for it hanging on the walls with their names!! Most of their food and coffee is imported directly from Italy! If you have not been here please GO!! Their Gelato cart will be at the next Fuel The Force event!! And… the owners are lovely people who are pro Law Enforcement and are a Law Enforcement Family! 💙💙

Just in case anyone thought the war on Law Enforcement is over, think again! And if you don’t know what “ACAB” means it means “All Cops Are Bastards”. This was today in Doylestown near the courthouse. We need to support our Law Enforcement Officers more than ever!! They need us as much as we need them! 💙💙💙

Congratulations Chief Winik!

Each week, we share the stories of individuals from across our district—our Hometown Heroes—men and women whose lives reflect the character, strength, and spirit of the community we are proud to call home.

When Charles “C.J.” Winik was sworn in as Chief of the Bristol Township Police Department last July, he captured the meaning of the moment in one simple line:

“You have given me a rare opportunity to lead a police department in the community in which I was born and raised. There’s no greater privilege.”

That is the heart of Chief Winik’s story.

Before he was Chief Winik, he was a kid from Red Cedar. A Truman Tiger. A son of Bristol Township.

He grew up in the same community he now helps protect. After graduating from Bristol Township School District in 1997, Chief Winik chose to build his life of service right here at home, joining BTPD and dedicating the next 20 years to serving his neighbors.

For nearly two decades, Chief Winik has answered one of the highest calls in public service: putting on the badge, standing watch, supporting his fellow officers, and protecting the families of Bristol Township. In my close partnership with BTPD, I’ve seen how instrumental he has been in every role he has served—from SWAT team member, fi****ms instructor, and accident reconstructionist to Public Information Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and now Chief. At every step, he has brought professionalism, steadiness, and a deep commitment to the officers he leads and the community that raised him.

Yesterday, in a fitting full-circle moment, Chief Winik received the Bristol Cares 2026 ROAR Alumni Award, which honors Bristol Township graduates whose leadership, service, and professional achievement continue to strengthen the community.

At a time when our law enforcement officers are asked to carry so much, Chief Winik’s story is a powerful reminder of who wears the badge: neighbors, mentors, parents, friends, and public servants who step forward every day to keep our communities safe.

Please join me in congratulating Chief Winik, a true Hometown Hero, thanking him for his service, and showing our gratitude to all of our heroic law enforcement officers who protect and serve our communities every single day.

Congratulations to Sgt. Rich Kraus! Thank you for your service! You will be missed! 💙

Today, we unfortunately had to say goodbye to the person who operated behind the scenes to keep our department running and moving forward. Whether it was technology, policies, or accreditation, he helped shape this agency into what we are today.

So, after nearly 30 years of dedicated service to the Upper Makefield community and this department, the final shift has been worked, the final report written, the final time the uniform will be worn, and the final time he will walk out of the station as Sgt. Kraus…

We ask that you please join us as we celebrate the career of Sgt. Rich Kraus and as we wish him well in his future endeavors.
