We love old machines and tools. This is Judy, a 1956 Universal De Luxe Zig Zag sewing machine with interchangeable cams, chrome levers, and a ruby red glass eye over the light. Picked up in Blue Bell, PA last week. Judy had a perfectly awful layer of to***co smoke stain on every surface and hadn't been touched in decades. Some Windex and white oil was all that was needed to get her back in shape. "Universal" was one of the many Japanese manufacturers selling to US markets directly after WWII.
