Hello Leaders,
Over the last several weeks, our leadership team has spent a lot of time discussing roles, responsibilities, accountability, vision, and where we’re headed as a company.
As we’ve worked through these conversations, I’ve been reminded of something I’ve believed for years:
Every organization eventually becomes a reflection of the people leading it.
That’s why leadership starts with the mirror.
Before we can grow our business, we have to grow ourselves.
It’s easy to become focused on goals, results, and outcomes. We want more production. More opportunities. More success. More growth.
But the older I get, the more convinced I become that sustainable growth always begins on the inside.
One of my favorite Jim Rohn quotes says:
“If you work hard on your job, you can make a living. If you work hard on yourself, you can make a fortune.”
I believe that’s true in every area of life.
Want a better marriage? Grow yourself.
Want to become a better parent? Grow yourself.
Want to lead a stronger team? Grow yourself.
Want a healthier business? Grow yourself.
The reality is that our businesses, relationships, finances, and leadership often reflect the person we’ve become. And that’s both challenging and encouraging.
It’s challenging because it means we can’t blame circumstances forever.
But it’s encouraging because it means we have the ability to change.
Over the last few months, I’ve been reminded of that personally.
During a season that included loss, uncertainty, and a lot of responsibilities, I learned the importance of slowing down, being still, and allowing God to renew me.
Now, as I step into a new season with greater clarity and focus, I’m realizing that growth isn’t something I do once. It’s something I commit to daily.
Growth is a choice.
It’s choosing to learn when it’s easier to stay comfortable. It’s choosing discipline when distractions are everywhere. It’s choosing personal responsibility instead of excuses. It’s choosing to become the person God created you to be….

Hello Leaders,
Over the past several months, we’ve walked through a challenging season personally and professionally.
There were unexpected setbacks, emotional moments, loss, uncertainty, and times where life simply felt heavy.
But one thing I’ve been reminded of through all of it is this:
It’s not always what happens to us that defines us… it’s how we respond to what happens.
That’s true in leadership. That’s true in business. And that’s true in life.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned through this season is that leadership starts with the mirror.
Before we lead others well, we have to lead ourselves well.
For me personally, that meant recognizing when I needed to step back, slow down, and trust the people around me.
And honestly, that wasn’t easy.
As leaders, we often feel responsible for carrying everything. But this season reminded me that years of building the right culture matters. Because while life was happening, our company continued moving forward.
Why?
Because we’ve spent years building:
a culture of personal growth
leadership development
professionalism
customer service
integrity
and teamwork
And that culture carried us through. Not perfectly. But powerfully.
Today, I can honestly say we are stronger, more aligned, and more focused than we’ve been in a long time. We’re not “there” yet, and truthfully, growth never fully ends.
But we are moving in the right direction. And right now, one of the biggest things we’re focusing on as a leadership team is getting back to the basics.
Because sometimes clarity doesn’t come from adding more… It comes from simplifying.
So we’ve been asking some foundational questions:
What do we truly desire?
What is the goal?
What will it take to get there?
Who needs to own what?
And are we spending our time on what matters most?
Because success isn’t random. Our success is tied to our daily agenda….
