This position requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, with a minimum of a cosmetology license or equivalent training or job experience(if you are a braider). Incumbent must have one (1) years of customer service experience.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the ability to evaluate and consult. Incumbent must be able to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse backgrounds.

The ability to communicate, promote and follow State Board of Texas Cosmetology policies, including building and department procedures is required.

Incumbent must have excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, and critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Incumbent must have the ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job. This position requires training and operating knowledge and experience with personal computers, but not limited to:online booking.

Experience with typical social media (telephones, Facebook Instagram, yelp, email, etc.) and experience with client data form entry.

JOB PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITY:

Incumbent performs specialized administrative duties involving booking new clients such as chemical formula and client notes. This includes an in-depth understanding of consultations coding for both you and the salon staff.

Additionally, incumbent is responsible for all phases of data collection and documentation related to client needs,goals, and visions of restoration for our supportive clientele.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Maintenance, monitoring and management of an accurate service according to salon laws, salon policies, and procedures at the stylist level.
• Registration of new clients and completion of all necessary paperwork and notifications related to registration.
• Evaluation of consults for accuracy.
• Validation of successful service outcomes in preparation for tracking of clients status towards their goal.
• Review and verification of individual client detail memos and reports business efficacy.
• Maintains permanent client files and data.

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED:

Perform other related duties as assigned; however, all employees are expected to comply with lawful directives in rare situations driven by need where a team effort is required.

PHYSICAL EFFORT AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed on an open floor/ or in a secluded environment; however, incumbent will perform work with intermittent interruptions from co-workers, mentors, and clients. This position may involve rare exposure to blood or body fluids. Regular attendance is required for this position.
