UWF's Explore Camps present youth with awesome opportunities for transformative learning experiences.
Help your child spark an unparalleled interest in science, develop potential career interests and experience academic success in a low-pressure setting. Designed for incoming K - 9th graders, University of West Florida's Explore Summer Camps provide an opportunity for kids to explore their creativity, challenge their minds and build new friendships. A mixture of STEAM-based academics plus a creative atmosphere results in one-of-a-kind summer camp experiences.

Crafts, crafts and more crafts! π¨π¨
Whether it's creating eccentric jaguars or drawing detailed mazes, our campers put on a beautiful display of their artistic skills.

Art with a twist! π¨
Our artists created their masterpieces by squirting colored water onto their canvas, transforming each piece into a unique display of their creativity.

Rainy week = rainy crafts! β
Our splash science campers took advantage of our rainy week by learning about water and conducting scientific experiments that explored water in all three forms.

Art, edible slime and LEGO-building fun! π¨π

A highlight from this week was our animal show! ππ¦
Our Animal Planet campers got the opportunity to meet a few animals face-to-face! From giant snakes to feathery cockatoos, they had an amazing time experiencing amazing creatures up close while learning interesting facts about each.

UWF to unveil 'Moon Tree' on campus UWF has planted a "Moon Tree" grown from seedlings that traveled on the Artemis I mission.

With their generous donation, Explore Camps is able to provide our STEM campers with the opportunity to explore exciting activities such as creating battery-powered LEGO cars!

The first week of summer camps has come to an end! π
From sharing big smiles with friends to working hard on their STEM-tivities, it is safe to say our campers had an excellent first week.
