Attention Facebookies!
We are extending the deadline for submissions to our art exhibition, _Feminist Iconography_, by two weeks, as to give potential contributors a bit more time to work on and submit their pieces. We ask that all contributors adhere to this year’s theme of feminist iconography throughout history, and submit their pieces via email by Friday, October 17th. These pieces may adopt a variety of forms and media, including painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, video formats, photography, poetry, creative prose, musical arts, etc. So, if you or someone you know is poetically, theatrically, musically, or artistically inclined, please considering submitting, and share the word with friends.

She is really looking for this to be done by students.
They are looking for just a beautiful piece of student artwork.
Does not have to be school themed or library themed. It can be anything from your imagination! Once the proposals are sent in, the marketing committee will make sure the images will not break any student conduct rules.
Proposals due Friday, Oct. 25th

They can be turned in at the circulation desk in the library (just let them know it's for Blythe and they can give it to her) or you can email them to Blythe at [email protected]

IMPORTANT!
-------------------------------------------------------------
The Department of Art is currently undergoing a program review. This review will generate a vital report that will have future ramifications for our department. One critical piece of this is a meeting scheduled on 5/9/13 at 1:30PM in building 82, room 206. At this time, the review team (consisting of reviewers outside of the Art Department) will meet with undergraduate art students affording students the opportunity to provide input as to the team’s concerns and/or questions in relation to our department and our programs. We are requesting as much student participation as possible! We realize this date falls in between semesters but for any of you who are available, you input will be invaluable to this process.
Please let me know if you are able to participate.
