This November we will be having our third annual Transfest!!! It will be a five day event from Nov. 20th thru Nov 24th Celebrating our community!

1. We now have a location for Transgender Day of Remembrance. It will be at The Vineyard on Wednesday Nov.20th thanks to all of those who messaged us with suggestions on our post asking for places to have the event.

2. On Thursday Nov. 21st, we are having an Trans Art show! Similar to the one we did with Femfest back in April.

We're making a call to all Transgender/Gender-Non Confirming/Intersex Artists who want to be apart of this.

You can either comment down below, message us or email us at [email protected] with your name, prefer pronouns and your art medium. Also if you have any questions feel free to ask and we'll do our best to answer them.

Lastly, we don't have a location for the event yet but when we do we'll let you know!

Brush Up Set Up Form

Hello, everyone!
GSA is working to put together an event for early to mid Fall called Brush Up. This event will be for trans and gender-nonconforming people to have a safe space to experiment with and learn about make-up. Right now we have a form open for anyone interested in attending to fill out. This is so we know all that we need to fit people's needs for the event. We're also taking donations of clothing and new make-up for the event to give away to those who may not have the means or money to obtain them on their own. Strive is proud to be partnering with FemFest once again -- this year we are doing a Trans Art Expo! We will be highlighting and showcasing famous transgender artists throughout the years, AND YOU!

We want to celebrate the local transgender artists in Escambia County! So we want to open the door for all transgender artists to put their work on display.

It doesn't have to just be studio art -- any poetry, plays, dance, comedy, etc. Any medium of art you express yourself through, now is the time!

We are delighted to announce that Artel Gallery has opened their doors for us to hold space in their spacious gallery. It will be on 25 April, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Hey everybody! We're so excited for the upcoming Spring Pride week. Unfortunately, we had to move the Carnival, but it is still happening!! This Friday from 11 am to 4 pm we will be having our carnival on the cannon greens. Come out for free pizza, fun games like bowling, ring toss, and trivia, and music.
