At Argopalooza you will be able to interact with and learn about student organizations that match your academic, recreational, professional, social, cultural, or faith-based interests.
UWF Global Quarter will be there!
This year Argopalooza will be occurring virtually via Zoom on September 7, 2020, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Registered organizations will be randomly assigned a 20-minute time slot during which interested students can join to learn more about the organization or meet other members of the organization.

Hey Argos! How is your Summer going? Today we are here to show you 5 different spots of interest in Pensacola you might be interested in visiting!
#1 Historic Pensacola Village. Take a step back in time when Pensacola was under Spanish and British rule. Walking through this village is like going on a time machine during the early years of American history. The settlement looks like Virginia's Colonial Williamsburg in many ways!
#2 Big Lagoon State Park. Enjoy the activities and nature at Big Lagoon State Park! Spread in 705 acres, Big Lagoon State Park meanders through the shores of Big Lagoon. The park area is popular for picnics, camping, fishing, hiking, boating and swimming!
#3 Naval Air Station Pensacola. The Naval Air Station features different facilities and services for the operation and maintenance of airplanes!
#4 Bay Bluffs Park. Bay Bluffs Park is surely for those who love to walk and admire nature. It is a broad walk with long staircases, perfect for those who want to stroll around!
#5 Fort Pickens. Explore the America Civil War history at Fort Pickens.
Built in 1834 by the United States military, Fort Pickens is a historic fort is named after American Revolutionary War hero Andrew Pickens.

Celebrate Japan! The International Education Week will begin Nov, 13th celebrating Japanese Culture! Activities will include a tea ceremony, origami, calligraphy, ikebana, Japanese dance, Sumo demonstrations, photo taking with Shichi-Go-San (Childrenβs Holiday) cut-out and coloring Shichi-Go-San bag with candy! We are so excited to see you from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the International Center!

Hey Argos! How did your week start? We wanted to thank everybody who came last Thursday to our Coffee Hour! It was a complete success! We also want to thank Peer Education for collaborating with us and doing such a great job! The coffee was delicious, and we now have so many Armadillos painted from various countries! π We would also like to give a special shout out to Gregory Tomso, the Vice President of UWF, who came to visit our event! Dr. Tomso delivered a beautiful and motivating speech to our students.

Niki Savage, International Affairs recruitment specialist, met the Prime Minister of the Bahamas on a recent trip to Nassua. She also had the opportunity to meet with local guidance counselors and over 1,000 Bahamian students to discuss the advantages of applying to UWF. Go Argos!

UWF Continuing Education and International Affairs are offering non-credit language and culture courses! You could learn:

- Basic Japanese Language
