We are so excited to announce that some talented members from the Argo Athletic Band will be performing in the ! Nearly 1,500 nominated students from 200 college bands in 45 states and Puerto Rico will keep the spirit alive by working together in a virtual marching band show. Welcome home, Argos! We hope all UWF students have a great semester!

On Wednesday, the Gulf South Conference announced the official postponement of its fall sports schedule until January 1, 2021. This change of events has presented us with the unique opportunity to shift this semester’s focus to live-streamed, community performances, and the creation of quality audio recordings and videos
The Argo Athletic Band may not have the traditional performances this fall, but this will be a year for the history books. We will perform quality music, foster school spirit, all while maintaining a safe environment for our students.
We will march on!
We look forward to the opportunity to perform this fall and serve at Athletic events in the spring.
We will provide more detailed information during the coming weeks, and we look forward to sharing our performances with you this fall!

Important Announcement from the Argo Athletic Band:

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the decision has been made to delay our first marching season by one year, to Fall 2021. This is certainly disappointing news, but we know that with the community’s help we can ensure the continued success of the Argo Athletic Band this year and in future years. We will continue to support the University and Athletics as the Argo Athletic Band for the 2020-2021 academic year.

As we prepare to march in Fall 2021, know that the University is fully committed to seeing the Argo Athletic Band march at that time. We have been immensely grateful for the support we have received from the University Administration, the Department of Music, the Pensacola community, and the UWF alumni and fans. We will rise above these circumstances, continuing to bring school spirit and a sense of pride to the University of West Florida.
