Alpha Gamma Deltas philanthropy is the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. Our Philanthropic focus is the fighting hunger initiative in partnership with Feeding America and Meals on Wheels. In the Pensacola area, we partner with Feeding the Gulf Coast, Manna Food Bank, and other organizations fighting for the same cause.
On Friday, April 22nd, from 6 pm - 10 pm, I will be hosting our annual spring philanthropy event Kicking Out Hunger Kickball Tournament, called Glitz ‘n’ Glow

Background 🔙
Hosman’s professional background includes her role as Marketing Manager at IMS ExpertServices, working for the Economic Development Council of Santa Rosa County Florida as Public Affairs Director, as Senior Health Educator for the Escambia County Health Department, and teaching as an adjunct instructor of Communications at the University of West Florida and Pensacola State College.
Hosman has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a master’s degree in Communications, both from the University of West Florida. She is a life-long resident of the Pensacola-area. She and her husband, James, have two children.
Involvement 🤝
Ildi Hosman serves as the Executive Director of Junior Achievement (JA) of Northwest Florida. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring financial literacy programming from Pensacola to Okaloosa County, fundraising, special events, and actively works in JA classrooms as a volunteer mentor.
Hosman’s volunteer and community involvement includes serving as the Chapter Advisor for the UWF Alpha Gamma Delta: Theta Lambda Chapter Women’s Fraternity at the UWF and as a board member of the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce. She is also a sustaining member and past president of the Junior League of Pensacola and is a member of IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area.
She has also been involved as a volunteer and board member for the Santa Rosa County Chamber of Commerce, CareerSource Escarosa, Manna Food Pantries, Saenger Theatre, and Santa Rosa Young Professionals - SRYP. She is a proud graduate of the Leadership Pensacola Class of 2008 and Leadership Santa Rosa Class 24.

Happy Black history month! As Alpha Gamma Delta’s VP of Wellness I am in charge of our diversity and equity as well. Making sure our sisters and all their different backgrounds are celebrated is one of the most important things to me. We want to make sure every sister is comfortable with their culture and comfortable enough to share it among her peers. I believe it should be ever women’s groups philanthropic purpose to make sure everyone feels equal to one another. Meaning no matter where we come from or what our story is we are all united in an unbroken circle.

“Hi, my name is Jacob Perry-Finley from ATO and I have chose to run for Cinderfella because I can confidently stand by the mission and values of the young women of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Their philanthropic contributions to organizations such as Relay for Life is something I truly admire. Relay for Life’s efforts to aid those affected by cancer is a movement I can proudly stand behind and be honored to support. I’ve had friends and family who’ve developed cancer in their lives and I have seen them battle through the treatment process. When my grandad was diagnosed with throat cancer I can honestly say that I had never felt more powerless as a bystander. Being there through my grandads recovery process was my first real encounter with cancer. From this I learned how to be helpful and involved when everything else feels helpless. Relay for Life was present in my life and has helped me in ways I couldn’t even comprehend as a kid and all I want now as a young man is to do everything I can to help and contribute to Relay for Life like they did to me.”
