Uncle Donald Fullerton and Mom (Elaine), the two youngest children of Tena and Wallace. Mom liked to tell us that she was allowed to skip one of her early grades in elementary school since she was so smart! I think it was second grade.

Made a quick stop by the Fairgrounds today to check on donations. One full truck left this morning and we have more trucks scheduled to go out next week. Tasha and her team have been doing an incredible job collecting, sorting and palletizing all of the items.

Donations will be accepted through the close of business Monday. Donations can be dropped off between 9-5 at the Fairgrounds.

Mr. James Bullock is an actor, writer and publisher, storyteller, and historian. He is the recipient of the 2006 Interpretive Guide Award from the Castillo de San Marcos, U.S. Park Service. James has appeared in several documentary films and museum projects which include Fort Mose, The Fatio House, Lincolnville Museum, Fort King, and Dade battle to name a few. He does presentations, pod casts and voice overs. He has several YouTube videos on the history of St. Augustine.

Please join the Clay County Historical Society on Monday June 27, 2022 as we welcome Carol Clay with the Southeastern Genealogists' Exchange Society. Her program will provide information on what SGES is, where it is located, and the resources available at its library with an emphasis on the Henry Clay family tree and his descendants.

It is held in the Clay Co., FL Historic 1890 Courthouse on the fourth Monday at 7 PM. A guest speaker is featured each month on a topic of local historical interest. Visitors are welcome.

Trees on Clark Avenue Get Yarn Bombed for Old Fashioned Farm Days in Kohler Park!! The Historical Museum will be opened 10-4 Saturday March 19 for the event. Plants will be available for a donation to raise funds for the museum. Come join the fun!
