4th of July Parade is quickly approaching! We need walkers to join us to hand out stickers and candy! We would really love someone to follow along with our cameras to take pictures and video. Facepainters are heavily requested!
Usual parade route. Must be able to at least keep pace with the lead vehicle. All ages welcome! If you'd simply like to walk with us, you're more than welcome to! Dress up in your Red White & Blues and join in :) Children under 12 must be accompanied by parent/guardian.
Be part of a multi-time award-winning team! Help us reach Trophy number 9!
Placement in parade will be announced as soon as we are informed.
We had a fun idea presented to us recently. For local events, what if we had coloring pages for kids to use and enter in contests? Winner gets a cool trophy and/or other cool prizes? We don't have the art software to create such a thing but we do have a dedicated artist on Fiverr.
We definitely are not opposed to local artists who could create some coloring sheets featuring our vehicles, members, and a few zombies thrown in for fun. Compensation can be discussed too!

What does "being a volunteer" look like for Zom-B13? Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't necessarily mean to dress up like a zombie!
90% of the time, we just need bodies to help us out with tasks for parades and events.
With parades, we could really use skilled hands in facepaint & makeup. Bonus points for special FX talent to help the zombies look more....well.... zombie. Another helpful hand is to do camera work. Photography and videos are a huge thing with us as we like to add our parade performances to our YouTube channel. Creativity is heavily encouraged! Our livestreaming would be so much more impressive if we had a steady hand to utilize!
During events, having some helping hands in setting up our canopy and tables is something that's always needed. Some decorating might be requested depending on the occasion. Our biggest event, Back To Ghoul, is something we need A LOT of volunteers for to supervise tables, activity centers, and make sure families are able to locate their child's grade table as well as other necessities.
Volunteers can take steps to become members! Members are those that are willing to show up for nearly event when possible (we understand work schedules and family matters are first and foremost important). Consistency is what it comes down to. Willingness to "dress the part" definitely helps, however. We do have "non-zombie" roles, sometimes labeled "hunters" or "handlers". Since we've opened up our story to being a division of Umbrella Corporation, we've got "Umbrella Corp" uniform shirts one could wear in parades! Now, sometimes we do themes for parades, so a little extra on costumes might be expected. Usually we can supply the costume add-ons, but it's great if you are able to use your own creativity! We do 3-5 parades a year so it's not a big ask. All are local to Pendleton, though we may appear for Pilot Rock events.
We have no room for bigots, racists, rude idjits or straight up jerks. We are very open with our community support of the LGBTQIA+ family and if that's something you just can't do, we don't want you with us. Many of our members and fans are in this family and we back them 100%.
Any questions, please feel free to ask!
