One Ordinary Day Cookwire Photography

From time to time I have people ask me...are you still taking photos? The answer is YES...it is still my passion and I can't see a time when it won't be. HOWEVER...2 things have affected my presence and volume...
1. My daughter got married last week and had lived at home for the last 6 months. We were planning and soaking up all the sweet lasts since she has moved 3 hours away. (ok, maybe not "lasts", but definitely less frequents)
2. I still am bad at and don't like to market myself.
So If you want photos, hit me up. I'm willing to do spring mini's but am not having an official mini session day. I have 3 or 4 senior sessions coming up that i'm looking forward to. I'm also looking forward to second shooting some weddings with Arden Ward Upton at Windwood Weddings.
Photography is sometimes viewed as a luxury but it is so important. Life happens so fast.

This past Saturday I had the great honor of photographing my daughter and future son-in-law’s engagement session. It was mushy sweet and such a lovely gift to see how they look at each other. I'm trying something new! Today I did my first "One Ordinary Day".

Life happens too quickly. One day we're going to bed exhausted from taking care of our toddlers and the next a lovely young man is asking for your daughter's hand in marriage.

It's easy to forget how little our kids once were, what their hand felt like in ours, what their bed head looked like, the silly faces they make, the joy the find in swinging high. The precious details of each phase of life need to be photographed and remembered.
