Looking for something fun to do out of school on Monday? We've got the perfect idea! Come join Chef Katie and Chef Emily in learning how to make your own butter, and your own buttermilk biscuits! Take home your own warm, fluffy buttermilk biscuits and flavorful, gourmet butter after class. Spots fill quickly, reserve yours today!

Chocolate Mousse Pie night went amazing! Everything went silky smooth, and we had so much fun! Stay tuned for tomorrow's lattice-top Apple Pie. 🥧 Rusty Probert, Karen Benner and Aisley did such a great job. Great to have The Wandering Whisk Bakery teach us some great tips.

Miss Katies Kitchen is partnering with The Wandering Whisk Bakery this week for special holiday baking classes! Three days of pie spread out over October 23-25.
Thursday- Home-baked lattice-top apple pie
Friday- Smooth, creamy chocolate mousse pie
Saturday- Southern classic sweet potato pie with a toasty meringue topping

Only three spots available per day per class.
You'll learn how to make homemade pie crust and different fillings by a professional pastry chef.

Thursday at 11 am to 1 pm
Friday at 6 pm to 8 pm
Saturday at 11 am to 1 pm

Students will take home their own mini pie, full recipes, and pie crust to turn into their own creations, along with the skills and techniques for the best-tasting pies around!

All ages and skill levels are welcome.
Classes are discounted at $35 per student per class.

NEW CLASS!!

🍳 Wrapping Up a Delicious Week!

The kitchen has been buzzing these past two days!

Day 2 was all about plating concepts and the flavor wheel — exploring how taste, mouthfeel and aromas work together. We built flavor step-by-step making a cheesy mornay sauce, and pasta.

Day 3 took us straight into breakfast mode with fluffy, filled omelets and fresh cut hashbrowns. We practiced sautéing and flipping food in a skillet. (This was so fun!) We played a lively blind taste test game that had everyone guessing (and giggling).

I’m so proud of the skills, curiosity, and teamwork that filled my kitchen this week. These students didn’t just follow recipes — they built confidence, learned techniques, and had a blast doing it. 👩‍🍳👩‍🍳👩‍🍳
