Been out of the game for a while but I’m happy to say I still got it 😏
Finishing the year with quenching a short sword for Space Coast Ren Faire. Which will be January 10-11 and 17-18 in Viera FL.
Volunteer demo I did for Create Conservatory, Inc. last school year. Now I’m actually their middle school science and math teacher.
Happy with how this barbaric falchion turned out. Blade is forged to shape from 8670 high carbon steel. Diamond shape guard is from raindrop Damascus and the handle is from the leg bones of a Kudu from Africa. It is currently in the hands of its owner, picked up at Lady of the Lakes renaissance faire.
First ring I’ve made and was used to propose to their girlfriend. Congrats again to our friends Amanda Wetherington and Karli! (Sorry Karli it wouldn’t let me tag you)

It’s been over a year since my last post! I’m slowly gonna start getting back into the groove of posting again. Here I’m working on a San mai cheffy with a 1095 core and cladded with layers of copper, nickel and brass.
